Bio:
Aram was born and raised in Yerevan, Armenia, where he graduated from Yerevan State University – the faculty of Informatics and Applied Mathematics. When he was 12 years old, Aram started learning the basics of programming from his father and ultimately enrolled in multiple programming competitions. A few years later, he ranked first in the national programming olympiad and won a silver medal from the International Olympiad in Informatics.
Aram started his career as a software engineer in the Byurakan Astrophysical Observatory and worked at other companies in the electronic design automation field in Armenia, before becoming a full time freelancer on web development projects for numerous clients across the globe. While working remotely, Aram met his co-founder with whom he started CodeSignal – an automated assessment platform for technical skills, which raised $12.5m total funding since then. Aram was selected as one of the Forbes 30 Under 30 honorees in Enterprise Technology for co-founding CodeSignal where he is currently the Chief Technology Officer.
