Bio:
Vahakn Papazian was born in Barcelona, Spain, and moved with his family to Glendale, California and finally to the source, Yerevan, Armenia, in search of an Armenian upbringing. Vahakn attended Harvard for undergraduate, where he majored in Computer Science and helped found Harvard’s Armenian club.
After graduation, Vahakn moved to San Francisco where he began his Software Development career at Ripple, one of the leaders in the cryptocurrency space. Vahakn eventually moved to Slack, where he currently works as a Staff engineer on the Messaging team. Outside of work, Vahakn is a for-life volunteer at the TUMO Center for Creative Technologies, and over the years has had the opportunity to wear many hats in that role. On a personal note, Vahakn loves to cook and play soccer, and likes to pretend like he knows how to surf.
